ErikV I went to the show on Saturday. Not sure what anyone else thought, but I was disappointed with the turnout all the way around. There were far fewer tables than normal. (The tables usually set up on the outside patio were not there with a number of tables missing at the west end next to PSA's table.)
I didn't see too many people in line for the Dodgers that were there signing autographs. I thought Saturday's crowd was lighter than normal. I spoke to a couple of dealers who said there were only about 150 people there Friday night and that sales had been slow.
Memory Land had a table set up featuring their T206 Plank card. Marion from Maraya Sportscards had a handful of nice T206 cards. Marty had a nice display of vintage cards including the previously mentioned E95 Cobb and E95 Matty. Mcavoy Cards also had a nice display of 1967 Topps Venezulea Retirado cards.
There were also a few items from American Memorabilia's current auction on display including a 1955 Stan Musial uniform and a Gil Hodges uniform with Mastro present at the show looking for consignments.
I guess there were deals to be found, but I left emptyhanded.
Did anyone who went to the show pickup anything cool?
