Eric BrehmMatt -- well, we have seen the cases where a card with NM 7 corners and VG 3 scuffing on the back is awarded an EX 5, so there may be some 'averaging' going on in the grading process; you do have a point there. But that is not how the system is supposed to work; again a card in theory should meet all of the requirements for a particular grade in order to get it. And yes I agree there are overgraded, and perhaps even altered, cards currently residing in holders. I'm sure PSA would be happy to re-evaluate these cards, if that is what you want; for example you can crack one out and send it in raw and see what you get this time. Or you can submit it in the holder, and if they agree with you that it is overgraded, they may buy it back, but I wouldn't count on it.
