He was a funny funny man who still had all his wits about him.

So many retired players do things for SABR; I know this is a broken record (but without SABR Jay here -- someone needs to say this) -- but if you are not a member of SABR -- you are missing out on quite a bit.

The one bad news for SABR is that the bi-annual (every 2 years) DEADBALL conference in Hot Springs, Arkansas was shelved for this year. Hopefully that will be held next year -- I love going there.
