1947 Homogenized Bread Cards 101..
Okay, I bit on one of these...just received it today. I purchased the Mize card, set me back about ~$12, so it will serve as a good learning experience. The card is about 1/16" to 1/8" of an inch bigger then my other 1947 Homogenized cards. The card stock feels thinner; actually, when you hold the back side (the blank side) up to a light source, you can see the Mize image from the other side (this does not happen with my other cards). Finally, the corners definitely were cut with a scissor; and this was obvious (even in the auction pic.), but in my haste, I didn't notice it at the time. On the plus side, the back doesn't have that toning color of the square-cornered reprints.
Hopefully, Ted Z. or another expert will chime in on this one...
