The frame has a glass front. Next comes the grid. The slabs fit right into each slot. Then comes the backing cardboard that holds the slabs in nice and tight when the cardboard back is affixed to the back of the frame. It has hangers in the back so it can be hung on a wall. Nice thing about the display is that it isn't permanent. Takes probably a minute to remove the cardboard back, change out cards, and replace the backing.

I'm going back to Target this week and pick up a few more.
