great punters that are in the hof:
baugh, waterfield already mentioned.
ken strong and jim thorpe were also great punters in their era, the difference is that thorpe and strong also were position players....and thus not labeled as punters.
fwiw, i think ray guy should have been a first ballot HOFer.
edited to add: i do think goose should have gone in (and i'm glad he did), he had many 3 inning saves....and not many one outers. when goose came in it was lights out.
