John Merson appears in the 1953 Boston Red Sox Photopack set, he is not shown in the 1954 version. If you want a great head and shoulders shot, the Photo Pack is the way to go.

He is also not shown in the 1950 Pittsburgh Photo Pack list (the only one in the 2007 Standard Catalog) nor with the listed Pirates Postcards.
