Buy the card, not the holder. I repeat, buy the card, not the holder. IMO, the only usefulness of third party grading is an opinion the card is not altered. What would be so bad with a system of holdering a card in a slab that OPINES unaltered. Then, accompanied with a scan of the card, each prospective bidder/buyer can reach his/her own conclusion of the card's aesthetic attributes.
