DMcDThe concept of a "virtual community" still strikes this old timer as something out of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. But I have gotten used to the concept of liking and caring for people whom I have never met via the computer. I really enjoy hanging out with you guys. I have learned alot and it is never dull. If I were to enumerate all those who have helped me with cards I needed or taught me something or just said something that amused me, the list would be a mile long and I would run the risk of missing someone. Instead I would like to acknowledge certain individuals. First and foremost, thanks and a tip of the McDonald cap to the Moderator Dude. You do a great job, take a lot of sh!t in stride yet keep this place rolling. Next, thanks to Keith O'Leary and Robert Adesso for their generous mentoring and card swapping during my Scorched Earth T3 and D304 campaigns. Finally, aloha and thanks to Matt and Kari Goebel and Max Weder and Jennifer Ettinger who have crossed from virtual to real-time friends of my wife and me, and with whom we have shared enjoyable visits in Hawaii and Denver and Vancouver.
Merry Christmas, y'all, Happy Hannukah, and a Festivus for the rest of us!
