Rob, the relationship between Mitchell and the Red Sox is a legitimate concern. While there seems to be some question as to whether or not he actually owns a piece of the Sox there is no doubt that he is part of their front office and draws a salary from them. As such I believe he was an inappropriate choice to lead this investigation regardless of his outstanding public and private careers.
