Greetings. We at Old Cardboard are organizing a series of monthly on-line "Deep in the Heart of Texas-Texas Hold'em Tournaments" to be held throughout 2008. They will be low-stakes events intended solely for the enjoyment of the participants. The private tournaments will be run by PokerStars.

Trophies and other "vintage" prizes will be awarded, not the least of which will be Texas Size Bragging Rights going into 2009. Full details for the tournaments will be announced in the January issue of the Old Cardboard eNewsletter and will be posted on the Old Cardboard website.

The purpose of this post is to invite a few Net54 members to participate in a "dry-run" tournament to be held this Tuesday at 7:30 Texas time (20:30 Eastern). Several Net54 members (Leon, Steve Murray, JC Clark, Scott Brockelman and myself) are already registered.
