Marty, my experience with the clock resetting only occurred when I bid and a previously set higher bid was bumped up. Not when I became the high bidder - the clock reset those times.

Jim, Barry, thanks. I've always been fascinated with Cobb since I read Stump's book years and years ago. Not sure what that says about me....well, I kind of do but don't like to admit it!
