But I can tell you that I would never advise a client to take a loss that great on a job on the magnitude of 50,000 cards. My opinion is that the long-term marketing value is simply not there, particularly for a startup enterprise. Mathematically, it just doesn't work. Again, you have a beautiful collection, but you're just one guy - and although you're very visible in the hobby, for the money they would have lost on that job, a good agency could have made them a lot more visible.
