The blank backs were the 1925 first series of the PC back set. They were followed by a printing wth a split format PC back that says "This side for correspondence" on the left, which were in turn followed by various backs that say "not for use in exhibit machines" on the left.

Ghosts are known in Exhibit cards. They do not result from soaking or other alterations. They are wet sheet transfers, same as T206 ghosts. Too bad this one was pasted down; it is a nice one.
