It's funny that the #160 Gehrig is more expensive than the #92, given that the latter usually has a sharper image and/or better color, as Ted said. I suppose it is because the #160 is more difficult to find, so '33 Goudey set collectors are willing to pay a premium for it.
It is remarkable how expensive all of Mickey Mantle's cards are, compared with those of other players of his era, but in the world of post war baseball memorabilia, Mantle leads the pack, and I suppose he always will.
By the way I play a Stratocaster, and lean towards Mary Ann (wholesomeness over glamour I guess).
