Default Babe Ruth Jackknife and some pins ???

Does anyone know anything about this jackknife I found while searching through some cards for a friend of mine?? He says it is from the 30's. It has Babe Ruth's name inscribed on the handle. Also, does anyone know anything about the pins (I realize the Babe Ruth pin isn't very old).
