Joe_G.One of the earliest baseball cards would have to be N172 Deacon White portrait with the caption McGreachery - Mgr Indianapolis. As the oldest player in the League in 1888 (year of photo), poor Deacon in a bare headed portrait sure looked more like a manager than player. There was no Manager by the name McGreachery, not in Indianapolis or anywhere else. One of several Goodwin & Company jokes.
