I am an absolutely addicted collector...I know these cards like I know the alphabet. You can tell by the back what series it's from. My reference is the American Card Catalogue by Jeffereson Burdick. He is the one that literally invented the numbering system and "e" is for early gum and candy cards. E94 were Close Candy cards....E92 had 4 different series....but are still E92, and Dockman is one of them..... I also own/moderate an extremely lively chatboard about vintage baseball cards....and have my own website also...You can see these types and many many others under my "personal collection" tab on my personal website...luckeycards.com.....hope this helps...
