According to the "babbling" on WFAN last nite and this AM, as reported by Bill Madden....my guess was pretty accurate......
Torre had scheduled Mussina to start last nite.
And, either Stein-grabber or Cashman overruled Torre and and forced the Wang start. This is sheer "micro-management B-S",
that Torre could not go with his man.

Furthermore, Pettitte (one of the most effective post-season pitchers ever) should have started game #1. I didn't understand
going with Wang in the 1st game. Pettitte would have won game #1 and the Yankees would at least have another game left.

I should have managed the Yankees this past week, because I wouldn't have let Stein-grabber control the events on the field.
All those freakin DP's....if they did some base stealing....the DP's would have been avoided. How many times did they have guys
on 1st and 3rd ?

That's an automatic steal situation....any 8-year old Little Leaguer will tell you that.
