john/z28jd I think it would be great if the Hall of Fame just said you know what,we have stuff from Barry to mark the occasion,you can keep your ball and try to sell it now for half what you paid now that it has a huge mark on it. They dont need the ball and even if he does give it to them they dont have to display it,thousands of items donated to the museum never see the light of day. If they want they could display it and have the asterisk either facing down or towards the back of a display where no one can see it. I honestly dont see them stooping to a childish level and highlighting the defacement on the ball
