Perhaps if baseball even addressed these issues, a fashion designer wouldn't have had to do it for them. In fact, I bet that if Selig and MLB had taken a stand on the issue (any stand mind you, whether it was A or B or C or D, anything exhibiting backbone or initiative), the fashion designer would not have felt compelled to do this.
