You are correct, Yogi Berra leads all with 71 hits....also, most World Series played (14) and most AB's (259).
Yogi also has the most World Series Rings as an active player (14).
Speaking about Yankee catchers, lets not forget Thurman Munson.......
He batted .373 with 67 AB's....
