I am in the NYC area and I dislike the Yankees intensely.

Al, I disagree. I think it is very easy to dislike the Yankees--two reasons:

1)George Steinbrenner
2)They try to buy their way to a pennent every year as they spent considerably more than any other team.

I root for the small market teams. I love Billy Beane and what he has been able to do.

I also now dislike the Mets and was happy to see them collapse.
