You can't seriously blame A-Rod for taking the money. I'm sure if we were in his shoes we would have taken the money and probably asked for more. With the money though comes the superman type expectations of the fans and media.

Sometimes it's difficult to believe but A-Rod is still only 32.

This could be a peak year for him, I'd like to see hit 62 and have a decent playoff instead of his normal playoff slump.
