I have thought that as well,because Speaker's portrait cards are somewhat rare in comparison.

Another guy I can recall whose visage is mysteriously different is John McGraw. I don't have my scans handy, but I think his portrait, and his "glove at hip" pose look like different people. Perhaps someone could scan a few of the General.

At least you don't get such ambiguity with Don Mossi
