I'd put Wagner first.

Players who saw Cobb, Ruth and Wagner ranked Wagner the best. I figure they know more about that stuff than I do from my chronological perspective, so I believe them and put Wagner first. If you read what the old players thought, and believe them, Wagner first.

Hardly anyone looks at it that way, and figure they know better and rate them differently. I used to think Cobb was the best ever. But that was when I based the decision on what I thought.
