Dan KravitzI think there is more money in buying low grade or rare/scarce baseball material. High grade cards will not always be high priced. The market is thin and if a couple guys back off of a card in an auction it could mean a whole lot less to the consigner.
Jay is right, the guy who consigned those CJ's took a bath.
I think you should be a collector first and an investor last. Buy cards cause you love 'em, when you invest, buy your kids education, real estate or stocks. DK
