Thanks Paul- I appreciate the large pics. I did come across one thing that was interesting.
Although it doesn't show up well in the scans, you can barely make out 1/2 of the letter
"C" on the front of his cap. It also strongly resembles the Cincinnati Reds hat style from that era.
In fact I came across an old picture of Hal Chase wearing a vintage Reds cap and the caps seem very
similiar. Notice the dark ring that surrounds the band of the cap. The guy in the picture even
looks like Chase, but Chase fielded lefty while this player is fielding right handed.
