Rhys YeakleyI actually have 2 handwritten letters from Davey Crocket (the ballplayer) and another 50-60 scorecards and letters from players in this set that came from the estate of a player who JUST missed the T209 set somehow. He also played against Joe Jackson at Greenville. When I dig the letters out I will scan the Crocketts. He died in 1961 but I think the two I have are the lone signatures in the hobby. His English skills lead me to believe there is a reason he was not a prolific writer! Appearantly the Rocky Mount team was owned by some doctors who had a drug store etc. It is a fascinating league that very little is actually known about.
