Default When a seller's answer speaks volumes (ebay)

Posted By: Bob

I emailed the seller of a pre-war card today which purports to be "authentic, I don't sell reprints or gray-market stuff" and asked him if I won the card and it was submitted to a grading company, would he reimburse me if it came back a replica or fake and he said, "no, there are too many people pulling scams out there. As is." Huh? He guarantees its authenticity then tells me it is sold as is. I didn't fall off the watermelon truck and I know a "tea-aged" front when I see one, even from a set I am not very familiar with. Needless to say, I didn't bid.
Agree or disagree?
