450 cards for about $201,000 (including juice). That's about $447 / card
There were about 30 HOFs, 14 spotted ties and quite a few tougher cards. I'd have to figure that 10% of the lot held over 40% of the value. That would leave about 405 cards (and some pretty tough ones) for about $120K or about $300 per card.
I sure wish I could have had a small slice of that pie (not the $$$, the cards).
If Mastronet took the buyers premium and sellers premium then the seller would have gotten about 35% less or about $140K (about $310/card). If the buyer got a deal (no sellers premium) then they would have netted the $167K (about $370/card).
In any case WOW - it sucks that one person got the lot... it would have been nice to spread it around. Someone got a pretty nice collection of cards! I wonder if the buyer is going to break it up. Somehow I get the feeling that we haven't seen the last of this lot.
