I predict that that system will be scrapped. It's just getting too much negative feedback. And when single bidders see they are faced with the likelihood of losing the entire group they will stop participating in those lots.

At least leave all the lots open so that when somebody gets shut out in the wee hours they can at least find another place to spend their money.
