Barry, it's not the fault of the defense lawyers or defendants when those sort of things happen. What would you expect a defense lawyer to do -- throw the case because he thinks his client is guilty? Remember this: behind every great acquittal is an incompetent prosecutor. All a defense lawyer does is put the government to its proof.
