I understand your concerns and I wish you the best, there are ups and downs to everything in life even a hobby. The fact is you are right in some ways, but you should not let people turn you off on a hobby that is fun and exciting. If I was able to find all that I wanted in this hobby, I would quit. The number one thing that keeps me going is finding items for my collection and helping dealers and collectors. I would never let a few bad apples get the best of me on something such as collecting, the same thing happens with coins, stamps and antiques.
