barrysloateBesides the annoying advertiser I cited, the magazine falls short in many areas. Too much of the advertising is nothing more than name brand recognition. That's fine for the businesses, but unappealing to the readers. Yes, we get it, everybody is looking for consignments...my grandmother is looking for consignments. But I don't need to subscribe to figure that out. The magazine had its heyday but that has long passed.
