Narrow your collection to 25 cards. Each time you purchase something new, sell one of the 25 cards. It will keep your collection fresh, you will always carefully consider your next purchase, and as your collection grows, you will acquire some more interesting stuff. Maybe it isn't 25, it's 50 cards, but the idea is the same.

Then add to it some items that you can hang on your wall, and you will always be excited about your collection.
