I agree with the others. Because of the auction houses & ebay, the National has changed focus a little over the years. It's now more of a social convention for a lot of collectors. Take advantage of that aspect by going to the dinner, meeting other collectors, dealers, etc,...

I will be not be going to the show on Wed. - the dealers’ bargain bins aren’t out yet. So, I’m contemplating what I want to do that afternoon. One of the possibilities that I’m considering is visiting the Pro Football HOF in Canton.
