I bought my SGC 40 Joe Jackson card in December for $16K from a very knowledgeable collector who seemingly was not in a rush to sell. I believe we had a recent market spike for that card that is an aberation. There was a lot of pressure on that card at lower grades which translated to higher prices on the mid-grade cards. The card in your auction went for $20K which I believe to be more in line with true market than the $30Kish that the SGC 40 went for in Mastro.
