From the few sales of graded subjects..there seems to be a wide spread in what these cards go for? Can anyone tell me why? I can see why a HOF'er like Bancroft would go for $2000 in a SGC 40..but why would Eddie Burns and Duffy Lewis both go for $2300 in a SGC 40?

Yes some cards like a Bill Rodgers common go for $400+ in the same grade? Can anyone make sense of this? Were the commons that went for $2000+ most likely Fergusons and not Fleischmanns? Is there that great of range in value between the two?
