I have a Stengel with Brooklyn. He last managed them in 1936 and was out of baseball in 1937. Sounds like these were issued over more than one year.

Leon, in your scans, the stock of the cards looks much darker than the stock of the display piece. My Stengel is consistent with your cards. Is the stock of the display piece really lighter, or is it just the scan?
