I'm encouraged by the relative youth of this board in general and T206 collectors in particular. A sustained drop in prices seems unlikely when the average-aged T206 collector has not reached his prime earning years.
One way to safeguard against a sustained price drop is to be better ambassadors for the hobby. We all promote the hobby by buying cards and participating on this board. But much more can be done in the way of research, writing and public speaking (which gives the hobby more legitimacy)--and just sharing the hobby with friends and family.
