Default T206 "minor" variations

Posted By: Pennsylvania Ted

Here's the order of scarcity I see the these FIVE subjects....and, their "scarcity factor" is really a function
of how few T-brands each card was printed on.

1st & 2nd.....O'Hara and Demmitt (St Louis variations).....exists with just POLAR BEAR

3rd & 4th.....Elberfeld (port-Washington) and Lundgren (Cubs).....exists with only with 3 diff. backs.

5th.....Dahlen (Brooklyn).....exists with only 5 diff. backs

And, I don't agree with the consensus that are saying Kleinow (Boston) or F. Smith (Chi & Bost) are "tough".
Shown here is Smith with 8 of the 12 diff. backs that he appears on....I'm still looking for the remaining 4 to
complete my run on this Smith card.

And, Kleinow (Boston) appears with the same 12 diff. backs......So, how "tough" can these two cards be ?
My experience is that these two subjects, while tough, are not in the same class as the above 5 cards.
