It always amazes me the things that stir a discussion here. There is no reason not to use a snipe service. Why let anyone know you are bidding so they can bid you up to your max? Place your snipe, walk away. If you want it bad enough you will win. If you get outbid, they payed too much. You never pay more than you want and get caught up in auction fever.
