Here is an example of one of my lots:





Does a rookie card collector who wants the Orlando Cepeda rookie card care about the cool Mantle card?

And does a Mantle collector care about Cepada?


Unfortunately for me, probably not.


But then again, the grouping makes sense for "set collectors" who are interested in ALL cards from that set...

so maybe this particular Mastro auction is really targeted at those folks.

I guess we will know when it ends if "grouping" works out OK for the consignors.
