For those planning their summers, I thought I'd give first notice of the Vancouver meeting for the Society of American Baseball Research. (http://www.sabr.org)

It's Saturday, August 25, and will be from 2 pm on. The first part of the meeting will take place at Nat Bailey Stadium (newly refurbished), with a bbq to follow at our house. There isn't a class A game that night, but the meeting at the stadium will be the first time we've had it there.

I'm lining up old ballplayers to speak, and anyone is welcome to attend, with no admission charge.
