Leslie - during my limited time on this board I've stuck to pre-war, which would have had me putting the t206 Cobb bat on (for various reasons.)
However, I kept coming back to this. It's so romanticized, not just the pose, but that it's taken at dusk (I imagine)during preseason, using what I guess is the photographer's spot light etc. It just all came together, IMO. I'm not particularly even a Bklyn fan.
