Hal LewisI just got my copy of "The Card" and was flipping through
it when I noticed "Net54" mentioned on page 194.
So I looked to see what it said, and it said:
Some Network54 members were stunned and demanded to know more.
"It's not every day that the author of 'THE MONSTER' graces
us with his presence!!!" one wrote. "BILL: Please share
with us the pedigree of the card!!! PLEASE."
I thought to myself that this looked like something
I would have written. Sure enough:

The damned author didn't even have the courtesy to mention
my name! 
Just think -- I was THIS CLOSE to having my name appear
in print in what is roundly being panned as the WORST book
ever written!!
