I mean afterall, somebody surely has mentioned his activities to eBay, yet he persists.

He is turning potential hobbiests away from our hobby faster than we can recruit them.

And they are our lifeblood.

And certainly the rationale I proposed is very weak. So, what is eBay thinking? Income?
