Default N172 Old Judge Question

Posted By: Gilbert Maines

Dylan: there are countless ways to collect OJs. My preference is to select cards which coincide with a specific achievement of the player. Lots of interesting things occured in 19th century baseball. By reading the history of the game, and choosing cards to represent occurances which you deem noteworthy, your collection becomes a part of that history.

And your wantlist will include some of the major stars and their accomplishments and the players who only had the one claim to fame of a good day, season or instant in baseball lore.
