to play some hold 'em...... your raise is understood but I'd really like to draw you out to show an interior shot:-) When I return I will get the picture out again. It's back in my entryway (rich people have a foyer). It's interesting food for thought. It's the base ball returns thing that gets me. I always speculated it meant returns of a product - to wit - the beer barrels but have entertained other thoughts each time I examine it. It could be as simple as a banner to announce the sports return for another season. Before I forget the architecture and overall flavor of the piece always left me thinking - a big city in the northeast like Philadelphia or New York. Of note is that I am terrible at guessing....

I judge a man by
the way he runs the bases
the friends he keeps
and the hole cards he plays....

(edited to add that the window on the right side as you are looking at it has "...adelphi" or whatever as a relection (or so it appears at first glance-it isn't backwards-have to think about that) and I will get beck to you about the other signage. Not sure correct or not but I'll post a couple close-ups unless that is verboden. I have too much stuff to remember all the vagueries but appreciate your interest.)
